ABTTF visited Western Thrace Turkish Minority Associations

Mustafa Kasap, Secretary - General of ABTTF, Sami Yusuf, person in charge of funeral fund, Engin İsmail, Deputy Cashier and Sebaytin Mümin, person in charge of social activities visited Western Thrace Turkish Associations in Southern Germany between 3 – 5 October.

Within the context of the visit, Munich Bavaria Western Thrace Turkish Family Associations, Munich Western Thrace Turkish Solidarity Association, Schweinfurt Western Thrace Turkish Family Associations, Lauf Western Thrace Turkish Solidarity Association, Schwabach Western Thrace Turkish Solidarity Association were visited.

ABTTF officers informed the chairmans and officers of the above - mentioned associations and they exchanged ideas. Associations’ officers expressed that they followed ABTTF newsletters and works of ABTTF from web – site with great interest.

Sami Yusuf, person in charge of funeral fund, gave detailed information about the works of the fund and invited Western Thrace Turkish youth to become a member of the fund. As a remark, that funeral fund is established by ABTTF and they make every endeavour to give the traditional funeral services to Western Thrace Turkish minority.


Halit Habipoğlu, chairman of ABTTF revealed that ABTTF took very important steps for the solidarity of Western Thrace Turkish minority in their region and had the aim to speed up their tempo. He continued „We have a very well – organized network with our associations and our cooperation with them will continue strengthening. With the ideal in our mind, we keep on doing our best for our minority to get what they deserve for a long time.“
