Enrolment has begun for the Xanthi Turkish Minority Middle and High School

ABTTF President: “Our autonomous and private schools are the future of our community, and it is vital that our children attend Turkish schools in order to preserve and perpetuate our ethnic Turkish identity, our mother tongue Turkish, and our culture. With this awareness, we are calling on the parents of students graduating from primary schools in the prefecture of Xanthi to enrol their children in the Xanthi Turkish Minority Secondary and High School. We sincerely congratulate the School Board and the School Parent Association for initiating this beautiful and exemplary project for our pupils and their parents and families.”

Registration for first grade pupils at the Xanthi Turkish Minority Middle and High School will take place between 10 and 20 June 2025.

According to a written statement by the School Board of and the School Parent Association of the Xanthi Turkish Minority Middle and High School, first-grade enrolment for the middle school will take place at the school’s main building located at Hacistavru Street No: 10 between 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM.

Parents wishing to enrol their children at the Xanthi Turkish Minority Middle and High School must apply to the school with their identity documents (taftotita) and complete the necessary application form to begin the registration process.

Prior to the start of the new school year, the School Board and the School Parent Association of the Xanthi Turkish Minority Middle and High School have launched an educational support project for students attending the school.

The project, launched under the slogan ‘‘Protect Your Identity, Protect Your Culture - Build Your Future’’, will include social, educational, and recreational activities for pupils at the school, robotics and chess lessons, sports activities during the summer holidays, and trips for the pupils. As part of the project, all pupils at the school will receive t-shirts and tracksuits as gifts, and stationery assistance will also be provided to all students. Additionally, pupils who register for the first grade of middle school will receive surprise gifts.
