Gravestones in the districts of Kahveci and Kirmahalle of Komotini destroyed
Some gravestones in the cemeteries of Kahveci and Kirmahalle of the city Komotini, Greece have been destroyed by an unknown person or a group of persons. According to the news of daily Olay, it was supposed that the attacks had been occured in the previous days, and mainly the cemetery of Kahveci had been destroyed.*
After a woman had called the daily Olay, and told about the incident, the daily Olay went to see the situation on site, and observed that numerous gravestones in the cemetery of Kahveci had been destroyed. The woman told the daily Olay on phone that the gravestones had been broken for a month. In the news, it is stated that in the cemetery of Kirmahalle, the destruction of the gravestones is small scaled, and it was claimed that they had been broken by the kids of the district. Since the gravestones in the cemetery of Kahveci are of a kind, which is hardly to be broken, it is more likely that the gravestones in this cemetery were deliberately destroyed.
