Western Thrace Turks attended the 10th Annual Meeting of FUEN TAG

The Western Thrace Turkish delegation consisting of ABTTTF, WTMUGA and FEP Party and their representatives conveyed the current developments related to the Turkish community in Western Thrace during the meeting.

As an example of the state’s systematic discrimination against the Turkish community in Western Thrace, ABTTF indicated that the freedom of association of women’s associations was violated because of the word ‘‘Turkish’’ in their name and accounted the effects of the backwardness of Western Thrace on Turkish women in the region.

Deniz Servantie from ABTTF Brussels Office attended the event entitled ‘‘Regional and Minority Languages Teaching in Pre-Scholar Age’’.
