ABTTF paid a working visit to the European Parliament

The Federation of Western Thrace Turks in Europe (ABTTF) paid a working visit to the European Parliament (AP) in Brussels. From 27 February to 2 March 2012, Melek Kırmacı, Director of International Affairs of ABTTF, had a series of meetings in the EP and raised the problems of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace in Greece.

As part of the activities ABTTF has already realized and is planning to carry out at the EP, Melek Kırmacı met the assistants of the MEPs with whom ABTTF has already been in contact. At the meetings, during which the current problems of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace were raised, ABTTF discussed the ways of bringing up the problems of the Turkish Minority to the EP’s agenda.
