The United Movement against Racism and Fascist Threat KEERFA announced that a racist group attacked the homes of Pakistani migrant workers with stones and sticks.
A group of about ten people broke the windows of the migrants' homes with slogans such as "get out of our country", "Death to The Pakistanis", "Death to Pakistan".
According to the migrants, the police arrived two hours after the incident at the scene of the racist incident.
Similar racist attacks over the past two weeks have alarmed migrants living in the region.
In its announcement, ‘It was a proposal for the acquittal of Nazi criminal organization Golden Dawn, which paved the way for fascist attacks. We demand the arrest and dissolution of this fascist gang. We call on trade unions, local authorities and organisations to condemn fascist violence’, indicated KEERFA.
The NGO, which has been fighting against racism for years, also announced a major anti-racism protest in Omonia Square on 21 March.
